Rachel Tropp

Research Assistant

Rachel Tropp is a member of Harvard's class of 2020, where she studies Government with a secondary in Educational Studies. She hails from Trumbull, Connecticut. Rachel has worked as a policy intern at the Children's Defense Fund, a development fellow at New Haven's Leadership, Education, and Athletics in Partnership (LEAP), and a Teaching Fellow with Breakthrough Greater Boston, where she wrote and piloted a curriculum on American identity incorporating DKP themes and materials. She volunteered with the Harvard CIVICS for six semesters teaching civics to fifth graders each week and is excited to work on improving the nation's civic education with the Democratic Knowledge Project.
